Budgets

Plan spending limits and track them through the month.

A budget sets a spending target for a category over a period. Parantaj compares your real transactions against that target so you always know where you stand.

Create a budget

  1. Open Budgets and choose New budget.
  2. Select a category and set a limit for the period.
  3. Save — Parantaj starts tracking matching transactions immediately.

Read your progress

Each budget shows how much you’ve spent against its limit. Use this to catch overspending early rather than at the end of the month.

Tip

Budget the two or three categories that move the most first. You don’t need a budget for every category to benefit.
