Create a mailbox

Set up your first mailbox on a MXTerm domain.

MXTerm is modern, multi-domain mail hosting. Before you can send or receive mail you need a mailbox on one of your domains.

Prerequisites

A domain added to MXTerm (see Add a domain).
Its DNS authentication records in place (see DNS records).

Add a mailbox

Open your domain in the MXTerm dashboard.
Choose New mailbox and enter the local part (the bit before the @).
Set a strong password and save.

Tip

MXTerm supports unlimited accounts per domain, so create separate mailboxes for people and shared roles (like billing@ or support@) rather than sharing one.
